2025 a damp start

Well I never expected to be in the position I’m in right now. Support has declined, one of my paying jobs came to an end, I broke a tooth and then to top it all off - I broke an arm, which needed immediate surgery! So here it is mid-February and I am still on universal credit. I haven’t found a job to replace the one I lost. I am just starting physio therapy to regain movement in my left arm. I had been contacted to be part of an exhibition in March to find out it will most likely be cancelled due to low participation numbers. What’s a creator to do?? Well, I have been creating. And taking my time. One thing about not being on the market, craft fairs and exhibitions means there’s not the pressure to produce, produce, and produce. You’d think I’d have time to do the things I wish I could do when working - but between the weather and appointments - that’s not happening either. I WILL NOT succumb - to negativity, to depression or to despair. Only good things will come out of this!!
